On December 16th, 2017, the Microsoft YouthSpark Scholarship Award Ceremony has taken place in Hanoi University of Science and Technology. The scholarships have been awarded to 80 female students with major in Information Technology and Computer Science from 9 universities in Hanoi, Hue, Danang and Ho Chi Minh city.

Those universities are Hanoi University of Science and Technology, VNU University of Engineering and Technology, Hue University of Sciences, Danang University of Technology, Can Tho University, University of Information Technology (Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh city), Ho Chi Minh City of Technology and Education, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Hue Industrial College.

The scholarship includes cash of $600 each student to cover a part of tuition fee; and capacity increasing activities with talk shows, skills and career training throughout the scholarship period. The scholarships are awarded to talented female students passionate in Technology Information and Computer Science. Many of those were born in poor families, struggling to follow their dreams.

Savvycom CEO Mrs. Van Dang participated in the Ceremony as a mentor and had some talks with the students in the talk show on “Career Development in the field of Information Technology and Computer Science.”
