Project Overview
KG KAIROS, an AI and robotics training program run by KG Group with Korea’s Ministry of Employment and Labor, needed a modern website and an efficient way to manage student applications. Savvycom redesigned the UI/UX and built a STRAPI backend and admin portals to track and announce application outcomes.
About The Client
KG KAIROS represents a pioneering collaboration between KG Group and the Korean Ministry of Employment and Labor, focusing on youth AI Robotics training. This program combines education with practical projects, designed to elevate the real-world capabilities in AI and Robotics.
Challenges
- Inefficient Management of Applications: Student applications were handled through manual processes and disjointed workflows, causing delays, errors and a lack of real-time tracking. This placed a heavy administrative burden on staff and left students uncertain while awaiting application outcomes.
- Outdated UI/UX Design: KAIROS’s existing design no longer met modern users’ expectations. Navigation and interaction were cumbersome for students and staff, the design failed to communicate the institution’s commitment to innovation and quality education, and the lack of a modern, intuitive and responsive design hurt both the perceived and actual usability of the KAIROS platform.
Solutions
- Design UI/UX: Our team overhauled the KAIROS website’s user experience (UX) and user interface (UI), integrating the organization’s logo and color palette in line with its established brand guidelines. Beyond aesthetics, we improved functionality and accessibility with an intuitive, user-friendly interface for seamless navigation.
- Efficient Tracking and Notification of Student Application Outcomes: A streamlined backend built with STRAPI manages and relays student application statuses, including pass/fail notifications. It integrates with KAIROS’s existing digital frameworks, offers real-time updates, and prioritizes security, scalability and the privacy of student data.
- Build Admin Portals: The admin portal lets administrators oversee the entire application process: organize and track application phases, create, modify and delete applications, review individual applications, and send results to students through an automated notification system.
Results
KAIROS now runs on a redesigned, on-brand website and a STRAPI-based backend that tracks student applications in real time and notifies applicants of their results automatically.
Administrators manage every application phase from a single admin portal, replacing the manual processes and disjointed workflows that had slowed down staff and students.
