HANOI, October 12, 2026: Savvycom took part in the Vietnam – Australia Digital Technology & AI Forum in Hanoi with a booth showcasing AI solutions. Representing the company, CEO Van Dang joined the panel “Connecting Technology with Markets: Opportunities for Investment, Commercialisation and Scaling Vietnam-Australia Digital Technology Enterprises.” The forum gave Savvycom an opportunity to present AI development capabilities and to discuss technology cooperation opportunities between Vietnam and Australia.

Savvycom presented two AI solutions already in operation. AI Symbol Auto-Count identifies, classifies and counts symbols on technical drawings. Savvy Agent is an internal AI assistant that helps employees find answers, documents and work instructions.
Our booth was honored to welcome Mr. Nguyen Chi Dung, former Deputy Prime Minister of Vietnam; Dr. Nguyen Khac Lich, Director General of the Department of Digital Technology and AI, Ministry of Science and Technology; and Ms. Renee Deschamps, Chargé d’affaires of the Australian Embassy in Vietnam, who visited to learn about the solutions.

Trust Begins with Understanding a Partner
Also at the forum, Ms. Van Dang, Founder and CEO of Savvycom, spoke on the panel “Connecting Technology with Markets: Opportunities for Investment, Commercialisation and Scaling Vietnam-Australia Digital Technology Enterprises.” She noted that trust is always the starting point of any partnership, but its importance only becomes fully clear once companies begin working together in practice.
Understanding a partner goes beyond speaking the same language. It means knowing what the partner values, how they work and which principles shape their business decisions. Listening, understanding and communication have been part of Savvycom’s foundation since day one, and the idea is built into the company’s name: “Savvy” stands for listening and understanding, and “com” for communication. For Vietnamese companies entering Australia, building trust therefore means learning about partners while helping those partners understand what Vietnamese businesses can offer.
“I used to hear people talk about trust in business. Only when I actually started doing business did I see how much it matters.”

Australian Businesses Need More Insight into Vietnam’s Technology Capabilities
Comparing the U.S. and Australian markets, Ms. Van Dang observed that U.S. clients are more open to overseas partners, which makes it faster to introduce and explain Vietnam’s technology capabilities. Australia presents a different picture: clients may believe they already know Vietnam, yet that understanding does not accurately reflect what its technology sector can deliver.
“Many people think of Vietnam as a travel destination somewhere in Southeast Asia, without knowing that Vietnam has strong companies in digital transformation, or what our workforce can do.”
Ms. Van Dang, Founder and CEO, Savvycom
She called on forum participants to build the ecosystem together by sharing market insight and business opportunities in both directions. Australian businesses need a clearer understanding of Vietnam, while Vietnamese businesses need more connections to reach the Australian market.
