Savvycom CEO Van Dang Receives the 2026 Women in Technology & Innovation Award
HANOI, October 1, 2026: Savvycom is honored to announce that the company’s Founder and CEO, Ms. Van Dang, has received the 2026 Women in Technology & Innovation (WITI) Award from the Australia-Vietnam Strategic Technologies Centre (AVSTC). The award was presented by Mr. Tran Trung Tinh, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology of Vietnam and Ms. Renee Deschamps, Deputy Ambassador of Australia at the opening ceremony of the Australia-Vietnam Strategic Technologies Forum 2026 in Hanoi.
Recognizing women’s contribution to strategic technologies
The AVSTC is a bilateral partnership supported by the Australian and Vietnamese governments to foster collaboration in critical and emerging technologies. The WITI Award recognizes women’s contributions to technology and innovation, while encouraging greater participation and leadership in the sector.
The award also highlights the importance of creating opportunities for the next generation of women working in technology and innovation across Vietnam, Australia, and beyond.
From a Vietnamese technology company to a global solutions partner
Ms. Van Dang founded Savvycom in 2009 with the ambition of building a technology company in Vietnam that could work with clients around the world. Over the past 17 years, she has led Savvycom through several stages of growth, from providing engineering capacity to delivering end-to-end technology solutions, and more recently, bringing AI into the way the company approaches enterprise technology.
Today, Savvycom has seven international offices across Vietnam, the USA, Australia, Thailand, South Korea, Japan, and Singapore, working with clients across different markets.
Contributing to technology cooperation and women’s leadership
Ms. Van Dang’s work also extends to initiatives that connect technology and business communities in Vietnam and Australia. As a former Steering Committee member of Aus4Innovation and a member of the Australian Alumni Business Network Advisory Board, she has contributed to initiatives supporting innovation and technology cooperation between the two countries.
Ms. Van Dang has also remained involved in developing the next generation of technology and business leaders. Through talent development initiatives and mentoring women entrepreneurs, she has sought to share her experience, create opportunities, and support others as they build their own careers and businesses.
Appreciation
Savvycom sincerely thanks the Australia-Vietnam Strategic Technologies Centre for the WITI Award and for creating a platform to recognize women’s contributions to strategic technologies.
The recognition is a meaningful moment for Ms. Van Dang and the Savvycom team, and an encouragement to continue contributing to the technology communities in Vietnam, Australia, and beyond.
